- I have a Zoom v34i and experience the same problems! It's not the
- modem. The BEST I can connect at is 26.4, never at 28.8 the reason is
- line noise. When you fall to 19.2 or 21.6, that is caused by your
- phone companies switches as your connection goes thru various trunks.
- No solution that I have found to date. I live in a older section of
- our community, 35 years +, the newer home may have fiber optic cables
- and better connect speeds. I wish some one would figure a way that I
- can use my 10' Sat Disk. Then I can eliminate the switches! Best of
