  25. I have a Zoom v34i and experience the same problems! It's not the
  26. modem. The BEST I can connect at is 26.4, never at 28.8 the reason is
  27. line noise. When you fall to 19.2 or 21.6, that is caused by your
  28. phone companies switches as your connection goes thru various trunks.
  29. No solution that I have found to date. I live in a older section of
  30. our community, 35 years +, the newer home may have fiber optic cables
  31. and better connect speeds. I wish some one would figure a way that I
  32. can use my 10' Sat Disk. Then I can eliminate the switches! Best of
